How to Change Your Facebook Name on PC

through how to update the Facebook profile name on Desktop so you can finally

Change
your Facebook name on Desktop:

Navigate to your profile: Click on your profile picture in the
top Right Corner of your Facebook Homepage.

Access Settings: From your profile page, click on “Settings
& Privacy” in the dropdown menu. Then, select “Settings” from
the submenu.

Find the Name Section: in the left – hand menu, search “Name” in the Search bar and Click on Name:

Edit your Name: Enter your desired First Name, Middle
Name (optional), and Last Name in the respective fields.

Review and Save: Click “Review Change” to
preview how your new name will appear on your profile. If it looks good, enter
your Facebook password and click “Save Changes.”

Notes:

Facebook restricts you from changing
your name too frequently. You can only make a change every 60 days, so choose
wisely.

When changing your name, Facebook
recommends using the name you use in everyday life. The may ask you to provide
legal documentation if your chosen name doesn’t match these criteria.

Changing your Facebook name won’t
affect the usernames you use for logging in.
